Mount Rinjani Trekking Adventure – From Bangsal Harbor to the Summit (3D2N) Experience the ultimate trekking adventure on Indonesia’s second-highest volcano, Mount Rinjani (3,726 m), with our expertly guided 3-day, 2-night journey. Designed for adventurers arriving in Lombok via Bangsal Harbor, this program offers a smooth and scenic route to the summit, featuring stunning landscapes, crater lakes, and unforgettable sunrise views. Day 1: Arrival at Lembar Harbor – Transfer to Senaru Village Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Bangsal Harbor, Lombok. From here, we provide a comfortable private transfer to Senaru Village, located on the northern slopes of Mount Rinjani. The drive takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, offering views of traditional villages and tropical countryside. Upon arrival in Senaru, check in to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings. In the evening, our team will provide a full trek briefing and equipment check. Dinner is included, and you’ll spend the night in a cozy guesthouse preparing for the adventure ahead. Day 2: Senaru – Sembalun – Sembalun Crater Rim Camp Wake up early and transfer (approximately 1 hour) to Sembalun Village (1,150 m), the official starting point of the trek. After registration at the Rinjani National Park office, the trek begins through open grasslands and gradual ascents. We break at POS 1 and POS 2 for snacks and lunch. The trail becomes steeper as we continue through POS 3, eventually reaching the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) by late afternoon. Enjoy a stunning panorama overlooking the Segara Anak Lake, the active Barujari volcano, and distant peaks. Dinner is served at camp with a magical sunset view. Overnight in tents on the crater rim. Day 3: Summit – Lake View – Return to Sembalun Village At 2:30 AM, we begin the final ascent to Rinjani’s summit. This challenging climb takes 3–4 hours over volcanic scree and exposed ridgelines. Reaching the peak at sunrise (3,726 m) is an unforgettable reward—soak in breathtaking 360° views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and the vast ocean beyond. After photos and a break, descend carefully to the crater rim for a hot breakfast. We then trek back down to Sembalun Village, passing back through POS 3 and the savanna trail. Arrival at Sembalun is typically around mid-afternoon. After a rest, we provide transfer services to your next destination in Lombok or assist with local accommodations or onward transport.
