One of the most popular snorkeling areas is around Turtle Point, located in the northeastern part of the island. As its name suggests, Turtle Point is famous for its resident sea turtles. Snorkelers here are almost guaranteed to encounter these gentle creatures grazing on seagrass or gracefully swimming by. Green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles are the most common species found here. The presence of these majestic animals makes snorkeling at Turtle Point a memorable experience, providing close-up encounters that are both thrilling and serene. Another notable spot is the Bounty Wreck, a sunken platform from an old pier that has become an artificial reef teeming with marine life. This site is a bit deeper than other snorkeling spots, with the wreck lying around 10 meters below the surface.
