Description

Rinjani Summit 2 days 1 night trek is designed for individuals who want to climb Mount Rinjani, one of Indonesia’s highest peaks, in a short amount of time, allowing more time to explore the island. The trek starts and end in Sembalun village, located in East Lombok. On the first day, trekkers ascend to Sembalun Crater Rim, and on the second day, they proceed to the summit of Mount Rinjani to witness the sunrise before descending back to Sembalun Village. Day 1 08,20am we will pick you up in your hotel in sembalun,We will Register at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) and start trekking to POS-1 (1,300 m) in about 2 hours. Take a rest for 5-10 minutes then continue walking to POS-2 (1,500 m) in about an hour. Take another 5-10 minutes short break then continue trekking to POS-3(1,800 m) in about an hour. We rest for 2 hours at POS-3,then you will have lunch with a hot drink such as tea,coffee,hot chocolate,or lemon tea. After lunch and take a rest, we shall continue trekking to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) which can be reach in about 3 hours. We will spend a night on the Sembalun Crater Rim. Here you will enjoy the owesome views such as sunrise and sunset, Segara Anak lake,and even you can see most of north Lombok island. Day 2 -hike to summit. We will wake up at 02:00 in the morning with coffee or tea and a light breakfast.After you have eaten we will begin the trek to the summit for sunrise.Normally the trek to the summit takes around 3,5 hours depending on how fast we go.We will be trekking in the dark so it’s important to have a flashlight for this section. The trek to the summit has many sections that are sand and gravel and some of the most tiring of the trek but our guides will be with you the whole way to help you.During this time you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of Bali, Sumbawa,and all of Lombok and the Gilis.Once we’ve reached the summit of Mt.Rinjani at 3,726masl we will take time for a short break and photos.Upon returning to the crater rim campsite after the summit our porters will have breakfast prepared and waiting for you. After breakfast we will begin the journey back down to Sembalun Village.
