Dishing up a taste of authentic Indonesian cuisine, Rinjani Restaurant matches its exotic food with an exotic location. Surrounded by palm trees, the restaurant is nestled between tropical mountains and white sandy beaches. It specialises in dishing up delights for two from an a la carte menu, but has plenty on offer to suit all group sizes. Set in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff, Rinjani Restaurant puts as much effort into the presentation as the food itself.
Enjoy a nasi tumpeng (rice cone) from the specials menu, comprising of yellow rice served in the shape of a cone, just like it is presented by the people of Betawi or Java for festive celebrations. Indulge in some ayam taliwang, a spicy Indonesian chicken dish from Lombok, or tuck into bebek betutu, Balinese-style duck wrapped in banana leaves (the duck is cooked by being planted in the ground before being covered with hoot coals for six to seven minutes).
