1 National Museum

The National Museum houses a rich collection of archaeological and historical artifacts, including the renowned hominid fossil “Lucy,” known locally as “Dinknesh,” which means “wonderful.”
2 Continue to the square, officially named Miazia 27, commemorates the day of Ethiopia's liberation and the return of Emperor Haile Selassie I with his patriotic troops to Addis Ababa. The Freedom Monument was inaugurated by the Emperor in 1944.
3 Mount Entoto
Next, head to Mount Entoto, the highest peak in the Addis Ababa area. It served as the location of Menelik II's first palace, the founder of the city, and provides stunning views of the surrounding forests and the capital below.
4 Mercato Market

6 Ethnological Museum
finally visit the Ethnological Museum, situated on the main campus of Addis Ababa University and established by the Institute of Ethiopian Studies.
