Welcome to paradise! Embark on an unforgettable snorkeling journey in the turquoise waters of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, or along the pristine coasts of Lombok. Our trip is more than just a snorkeling experience – it's a deep dive into the magical marine world of Indonesia’s most beloved tropical islands.
From floating with sea turtles in their natural habitat to admiring vibrant coral gardens and tropical reef fish, this trip combines adventure, nature, and relaxation in one perfect package. Suitable for families, couples, solo travelers, and groups, this is one of the best ways to experience the beauty of Lombok and the Gilis both above and below the surface.
What You'll Experience (Itinerary)
1. Departure Point
We’ll meet at a designated point in Gili Air.
2. Boat Ride to Snorkeling Spots
Board a traditional outrigger boat or modern glass-bottom boat and cruise across the calm, crystal waters of the Gili islands. Feel the sea breeze and enjoy panoramic views of Mount Rinjani in the distance.
Snorkeling Stop
– Turtle Point (Gili Meno or Gili Trawangan)
Dive into warm, shallow waters and get ready for a magical experience – swimming with sea turtles! These gentle creatures are used to humans and often glide peacefully just a few meters from you. Our guide will help you spot them and maintain a respectful distance.
– Underwater Statues at Gili Meno
Explore the famous 'Nest' underwater sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor. This artistic underwater installation of 48 life-sized statues is now home to soft corals and fish, creating a surreal diving experience that’s perfect for photography.
– Coral Garden & Fish Feeding Spot
Snorkel over colorful coral gardens teeming with marine life – clownfish, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, and sometimes even moray eels. You’ll have the chance to feed some of the fish using special eco-friendly feed (optional), attracting schools right to your mask!
6. Optional Fourth Stop – Gili Air Drift Snorkeling or Secret Reef
Depending on sea conditions and your preferences, we may stop at a drift snorkeling location or a lesser-known reef for a more secluded experience.
7. Lunch Break on the Beach
We stop at one of the islands for a delicious beachfront lunch. Enjoy fresh seafood, local Indonesian favorites, or vegetarian options – all while your feet are in the sand and the sea just steps away.
8. Relax & Return
Enjoy some relaxing time on the boat before heading back to your original departure point.
