Ashtari Yoga Shala
Ashtari Yoga Shala is located on the on the estate of Ashtari Restaurant in Kuta Lombok. lt is a wooden platform, surrounded by the forest and ideal for practicing yoga. With the platform situated on a hill the ocean views are breathtaking of the south coast of Lombok.
Classes are offered daily at 7am, 8.30am, 11am, 3:30pm and 5pm and run for 75min each. Mondays charity class is offered at 6:30am to 8:15am including Meditation, Pranayama and Hatha Yoga.

-- Monthly Unlimited Pass 900k (50% discount for 'locals')-non transferable
-- Pass holders can access Kuta Baru Poolside Yoga(and their pool for free), Novotel Lombok Beach Yoga and Sempiak Villas Ocean View and all Passes are transferable to friends. You can come to the class with your friends and share one pass among all of you. If you are leaving Kuta or have some reasons why you cannot use all the classes you paid for, you can give the pass to your friend and they can use it.

The types of yoga offered at Ashtari Yoga Shala are:
'Solar' is Strength & Masculinity and represents a more active practice while 'Lunar' is Gentleness and Femininity and represents a more Passive Practice.
Vinyasa Flow - 'Solar Practice' consists of a powerful series of flowing and jumping movements, perfect for the practitioner who is looking for a more challenging workout.
Vinyasa Flow(Ashtanga inspired) - 'Solar Practice' draws its inspiration from the sequences of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, which will vary to emphasize different aspects of the body, thereby exposing practitioners to a wider range of asanas in order to increase and challenge ones strength and flexibility.
Yoga for Surfers - 'Solar & Lunar Practice' very popular, Gentle Flow Yoga we have adapted to surfers, we focus on strengthening & balancing in the
morning class and on stretching in the'Lunar Practice' later in the day.
Gentle Flow Yoga - 'Solar & Lunar Practice' is open to all levels of practice and abilities and is especially great for beginners or those searching for the therapeutic benefits of yoga. This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slow pace of this class allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling great.
Power Yoga - 'Solar Practice' is a fitness-based vinyasa practice. An offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga. It has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress
reduction. Teachers design their own sequences, while students synchronize their breath with their movement.
Yin Yoga - 'Lunar Practice' is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time (around five minutes). Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments - with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
Meditation & Pranayama - ”Lunar Practice” Prana is our breath and the vital life force in our bodies. Pranayama is the relationship to our breath and teaches us to control the movement of our minds. The more we become aware of our breath, the more we are able to calm the mind and access and experience the bliss of our hearts through meditation.
Charity Practice - contains Meditation, Pranayama and HathaYoga.
After the class one can relax, sip on a refreshing drink at the restaurant or just take in the exquisite view.
