Trek Rinjani Lombok are a professionally-run operation, running treks to Rinjani crater rim, Segara Anak lake and the Rinjani Summit. They have many years of experience, local knowledge and a very eco-friendly attitude. Trek to the summit and swim in the lake, explore the caves or take a healing dip in the hot springs. Locals believe that the springs have healing powers and water is collected from here and mixed with herbs to make medicinal oil. Trekkers can even eat the wild strawberries that grow along the way. Listen to village stories, local myths and legends from your guide while descending the flora and fauna-rich trail to Senaru Village. Accommodation on many of the treks is camping, which allows for a real wilderness experience and plenty of other activities like fishing on Segara Anak lake. Luxury treks have the option of staying in villas nestled amongst lush tropical gardens, cottage-style accommodation and guesthouses.
